CB Lettering is a hand-lettering practice focused on small-scale printed work across art prints, stationery, and commissioned pieces.

CB Lettering began in 2018 as a hand-lettering side hustle focused on experimenting with typography and producing custom pieces for weddings, gifts, and small commissioned work. It has developed through individual requests, occasional Etsy releases, and informal word-of-mouth commissions, with each piece created independently rather than as part of a standardized production process.

The identity system was developed to address a specific tension: how to introduce consistency in presentation without standardizing products that are intentionally varied and unpolished. Instead of defining a fixed visual style, the system establishes lightweight rules across website structure, packaging, and typographic layout so that each piece can remain distinct while still belonging to the same body of work.
